Directors
The CCDE’s directors are faculty from the University of Washington Department of Communication, representing a range of disciplines within the field. Together, they lead the center’s programs, mentor its scholars, and build partnerships across campus and in the community.
Research Assistants
Research assistants in the CCDE are current MA/PhD students in the Department of Communication whose research centers difference and equity, and who are advised by CCDE directors. They support the center’s ongoing mission through active collaboration on research and programming, co-authoring with faculty, and helping shape future directions of the CCDE.
Academic Affiliates
Our academic affiliates are UW faculty members and CCDE alums who have carried the center’s work into faculty and research positions of their own. They remain collaborators, mentors, and part of the CCDE community.
